A leading Integrated Energy Solutions Provider was facing challenges with change control, scheduling and communication of schedules with their clients, and cost efficiencies missed by project managers. The client had issues with past three projects and a large contract was starting in the same quarter.
Procept reviewed documents from their previous projects including WBS, project estimates, schedule, schedule of values and ledger. Procept created weight factor analysis and WBS sample charts to be used in the future projects and also created a flow chart to guide the scheduling process.
Next, Procept conducted a ½ day coaching session on best practices for scheduling with a select group of the client's project management staff and provided one-on-one coaching to its scheduler to help develop a schedule and estimates for the upcoming project.
