Shawn Stevenson is a Senior Consultant and Instructor for Procept Associates and is currently contracted as an instructor at the University of Regina teaching business analysis classes.

In his consulting and management career, Stevenson has been recognized as senior strategy resource with a track record of effectively transitioning difficult and complex business problems into delivered solutions. He is often sought to advise troubled projects and diagnose issues that pertain to requirements, governance and validation of business value. He also specializes in project health checks where he advised on and implemented business analysis frameworks that represent leading-edge techniques for documenting requirements, validating solutions and managing complexity. With his strong mentorship skills, he is often relied on to coach business analysts to better assist their organizations to achieve expected business benefits. He has been recognized for his ability to teach, communicate and liaise with multiple stakeholders.

As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, and a ProSci-certified Change Management Professional, he has achieved mastery in multiple techniques, which has allowed him to develop tailored approaches that merge industry standards with the unique nuances of any organization's culture or problem. Additionally, Stevenson's flexibility has been demonstrated through his work for the public, non-profit and private IT sectors. He is a proficient manager of both technical and non-technical projects where he has a proven record using project metrics to manage tight deadlines. His project teams have been noted for their efficiency, teamwork and high morale.
