Joanna is a senior leader with 15+ years of executive experience managing projects, programs and portfolios in Canada and internationally. She has been a UofT Instructor since 2009 teaching project management foundations, international project management, leadership, and business analysis (20 courses taught to date with an average evaluation score of 4.6/5.0). She is an agile leader and executive coach/trainer since 2013 with hands-on experience in owning and developing agile roadmaps and execution plans for multiple organizations. Joanna is also an active member of the agile community, being a Board Member of the Toronto Agile Community and the Organizer of the 2018 Toronto Agile Conference with 1,200 participants.
As a speaker, influencer and thought leader for continuous improvement and growth, she has managed to influence multiple organizations in their approaches to produce better results and build high performing teams.
Joanna holds the following certifications: CAL (Certified Agile Leader), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), SA (Scaled Agile Framework Agilist), KMPI (Kanban Management Professional I), OSA (Open Space Agility), PMP (Project Management Professional). She has also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in education.
