WEBINAR - Tools Series (part 6): Using Convergent & Divergent Thinking for More Effective Decisions

WEBINAR - Tools Series (part 6): Using Convergent & Divergent Thinking for More Effective Decisions

Some people are detail-oriented and like to analyze the minutiae of a problem before making a decision.  Others are "big-picture" thinkers who take a broader perspective and don't get caught up in the details.  Each of these perspectives is helpful, but only provides a partial understanding of the problem being analyzed.  Convergent and divergent thinking techniques help the leader to narrow or broaden their focus as required so that they can understand both perspectives to make more holistic decisions.

In this 1-hour webinar, join management strategist Bill Richardson as he teaches participants how to overcome their default way of viewing an issue and either zooming in or panning out to see it in new ways.  Through specific reflective techniques, participants will learn to spot and control how they are seeing a problem, allowing them to make more mindful choices.

This is part of our "Tools Series" wherein we teach a number of problem analysis and decision-making tools that one can use to make better, more rational decisions.
