PROBLEM

PM Expertise to advise on the definition, creation and implementation of project and program, standards, processes, techniques and methodology, organizational structure and governance.

SOLUTION

Develop a complete set of Project Management processes and sub-processes, templates (forms and reports), as well as a communication and execution strategy aimed at reaching Project Management Maturity Level 3 (out of 5).

Procept was hired as a project management advisor to advise the PMO staff, managers, and team members on the definition, creation and implementation of project and program, standards, processes, techniques and methodology, organizational structure and governance. It also made recommendations on how to incorporate SharePoint with project management processes.

Deliverables of the project included:

  • To design, produce, and deliver, a complete set of Project Management processes and sub-processes, templates (forms and reports), as well as a communication and execution strategy aimed at reaching Project Management Maturity Level 3 (out of 5).
  • To advise on the use of document repository (Sharepoint) and incorporate its use in the PM process.
  • Meet with pertinent stakeholders to make informed recommendations to Corporate Project Governance (CPG) management on processes and approach.
  • To assist with rollout of the PM methodology on intranet.
