Project Execution and Control

Project Execution and Control

Many projects often face execution challenges where the project team responsible for implementation is different from the team that planned the project. This 2-day course is designed to equip execution managers and project controllers with the skills to interpret, evaluate, and effectively manage and execute a project plan. Participants will learn how to assess the quality of a plan, monitor and control execution, handle changes and unexpected realities, and report project status effectively.

By the end of this course, participants will be confident in their ability to read and assess project plans, measure progress against baselines, manage risks, deal with change orders/requests, and ensure stakeholder expectations are properly addressed. The course integrates real-life scenarios, case studies, and hands-on exercises to provide a practical learning experience.

Procept also has a version of this course tailored to utility companies including utility-specific case studies and activities.
