Condominium boards outsource their property management to property managers or specialty condo management firms thinking that this delegates their responsibilities and risks.  Similarly, property managers or condominium managers may outsource project management responsibilities to consulting engineers, architects, or general contractors thinking that the delegation takes the responsibilities and risks off of their plates; however, this is often not the case.  Each of these parties has a specific understanding of their project management role and responsibilities that often don't align, leaving gaps through which significant risks can materialize, jeopardizing the success of a project. This session will explore how to identify these critical gaps, understand the potential risks they introduce, and implement strategies to prevent them.
