An internationally-recognized project management expert, George Jucan is currently Chair of the Canadian Standards Mirror Committee for ISO\TC258 Project,Programme and Portfolio Management.

He has over 30 years of maximizing value delivery in a broad range of endeavours within many business areas, in large and complex public- and private-sector environments. George is an expert in motivating people and building trust-based relationships across organizational boundaries. George is well known as a management consultant focused on enabling organizational efficiency through efficient project, programme and portfolio management. He has extensive experience in supporting business units to meet corporate objectives by efficiently leveraging innovative IT technologies and solutions. His reputation is built on the ability to navigate complex and challenging stakeholder environments to deliver successful results.

His career includes defining strategies and roadmaps, business/processes reengineering and organizational restructuring, as well as hands-on management of large-scale transformational programs and projects — many of them winning provincial and national awards and/or profiled in specialty magazines. Throughout his career, George set up multiple governance and compliance monitoring frameworks for multi-million, multi-year, cross-jurisdictional, transformational projects that had extreme impacts on people's lives. His career has been focused on social assistance, accessibility, privacy, health care, public transportation, return to work and other programs that assist people when they need it the most.

George has a passion for sharing his knowledge and experience with the community, having held leadership positions in ISO and PMI at international and local levels. He is an experienced curriculum developer and trainer of project management courses, a dedicated coach and mentor, as well as author/co-author of several books and many high-impact articles. A highly entertaining and engaging speaker, his sessions are extremely interactive and create a personal connection with each participant even if there are over 500 people in the audience. He brings in real-life examples from his extensive personal experience to enhance the message and reach the participants' hearts and minds.

He is also accredited by PMI under its Authorized Training Partner Instructor program to teach its PMP Exam Prep course.
