Maria Trott
Maria Trott is a Business and Project Management Consultant with over 20 years of project experience. She first started as a PM of large-scale clinical/academic research trials at McMaster University. Maria has further refined those skills with a migration to the business and information technology environments over 15 years ago. She has been exposed to a wide spectrum of corporate cultures, project and software engineering methodologies and capability maturity models. This experience has allowed Maria to easily adapt to, and address, her client’s specific needs. Maria has several consulting specialties in:
- Building and implementing enterprise-wide Project Management Methodology, Tools, Quality Assurance and Training Programs
- Applying People Change Management principles to effect organizational readiness for large strategic change initiatives
- Developing continuous methods for promoting and sustaining project manager capability growth within organizations

Maria’s recent experience has been with a large Canadian financial institution where she holds the role of Senior Consultant. Prior to this, she held roles of Senior Project Manager, Training Consultant and Process Consultant.
Maria holds a degree in Chemistry from McMaster University and she is a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute. She also has been certified in People Change Management and Organizational Change.
