George Nwokentah is a consultant for Procept Associates Professional Services Limited, a franchisee of Procept Associates Ltd, Canada, a consulting and training firm specialising in project management, business analysis, IT service management and business continuity management.
He has over 5 years experience in operations, procurement, business analysis and project management across manufacturing, marine services, oil and gas and consulting sectors.
Recently, George was a member of the Procept team that successfully implemented business continuity and ISO 22301 certification for FBNQuest Merchant Bank.
As the operations supervisor for Sarvil Nigeria, George was instrumental in increasing production and bottom line, and as procurement lead for Gyra Navigations, he improved the procurement process, reduced excess inventory and increased revenue. At Chevron Nigeria, George played support roles in production data analysis, carried out safety and operational awareness presentations to top management and was part of the team that carried out a business process improvement project to determine, analyze and correct anomalies in data sharing and analytics between the Strategy and Business Planning Unit and its internal customers with the main objective of streamlining the process of data analysis and reporting.
George has a bachelor’s degree in Geology, a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geology and Engineering. He attended the Institute of Petroleum Studies. He is BCMS Practitioner trained.
